hanks animal hospital - Dr. Hanks

Not resolved

If you are going for shots she is probably fine.If your dog is sick you should find a better vet.

She is only interested is a quick diagnosis and selling you expensive products. I took my dog to her 4 times for upset stomach and she kept giving her pills and special food. Two of those visits she didn't even look at her. One day my dog started breathing heavy, so I took her to the emergency clinic.

She had a belly full of tumors and I had to put her down. If Dr. Hanks had taken the time to do simple blood test or x-ray we could have known the cause of her upset stomach. Instead of being able to make her comfortable and being prepared for my pets death, I shoved needless pills and spent way too much money of worthless food.

Dr. Hanks is not interested in solving your pets problems, only treating the symptoms. I trusted Dr.

Hanks and she let me down.I will never ever return to this clinic!

Sounds like you waited too long to seek treatment and probably shouldn't own a pet. There are 100s of happy and satisfied pet owners out there to every one disgruntled owner such as yourself.

Been taking my dog there for a year and have nothing but great things to say about dr and her staff. Sounds like you're just someone trying to discredit a business because of your own ignorance.

A persons performance should be based on the number of positive reviews, and throw out all the negative ones due to other drs placing them on blogs and websites, not to mention pet owners such as yourself who wait too long to treat their animals.JDW

I have been going to Dr.Hanks for 7 years (2 dogs, 3 cats) and she is the best vet I have yet to encounter.

She truly cares for the animals and the clinic goes out if their way to save you money.

When my closest pet friend died (no fault of hers), she cried along with me and helped me through the grieving process.I cannot recommend her enough.

First of all, I am sorry to hear of your loss.I know the heartache associated with losing a family pet all too well.

I have had dogs since I was 5 years old and collectively have had 6 dogs as an adult. Right now, I have 3 dogs. I have been going to Dr. Hanks for 8 years.

I love her, my dogs love her! She is the best vet that I have ever gone to. She is an excellent diagnostician.

She is also compassionate and truly cares about her clients and does not run up bills performing unnecessary tests.I am not sure what happened here, but want to sing her praises and recommend her to take care of anyone's pets.

Sorry about your loss, but if she had done the expensive x-rays and blood work you would have found something else to complain about. It's park of the grieving process, to find someone to blame.

I have seen her personally take care of severely sick pets and comfort their "parents". She truly loves each and everyone of those animals and hurts just as much as their owners when things don't work out. Just like with regular medicine it is not an exact science. Dr.

Hanks is a great vet and a wonderful person!Try walking in her shoes on a daily basis before you judge!

I agree, I have been going to DR.Hanks for 10 years now and she's always done a great job...

My animals have had blood work, simple pill script, teeth cleaning, annual shots etc.

I am very happy with her.
